Everton v West Ham
My Prediction: Home Win
Dougie’s prediction: Home Win

The Toffees will be hoping to get some points after their heartbreaking defeat at Chelsea last weekend in the dying minutes. High-flying West Ham will put up a fight but Everton look comfortable on the ball at home.

Fulham v Chelsea
My Prediction: Away Win
Dougie’s prediction: Away Win

Fulham are in trouble. Having lost the most amount of games out of any team this season, they are looking like serious relegation candidates. This may spur them on to fight for points against West London rivals Chelsea. The blues have the best defence in the league, and I think their offensive players will be far too much for Fulham to cope with.

Hull City v Newcastle
My Prediction: Draw
Dougie’s Prediction: Home Win

Hull are firing on all cylinders at the moment winning 0-4 at Cardiff last weekend. Shane Long and Nikica Jelavic really gel up front, and Tom Huddlestone is in the form of his career. Loic Remy’s last gasp victory last weekend at home to Aston Villa will spur Newcastle on, however there are still some deep underlying issues that may affect their performance.

Stoke City v Arsenal
My Prediction: Draw
Dougie’s Prediction: Draw

Stoke will always be a tough place to go and get a result, however they are in a somewhat dangerous position flirting with relegation. They will need a solid performance in order to get more than a point from Arsenal. Of course Arsenal can win this game if their players decide to play sufficiently, however I think they have had their share of luck on the road. Should they perform up to standard, their passing could prove to overwhelm the average Stoke defence.

Southampton v Liverpool
My Prediction: Draw
Dougie’s Prediction: Away Win

We are very much so looking forward to this game. Four Saints players have made their way into the England squad this week and it is easy to see why, despite a slip up against West Ham last week, Southampton have the potential to dent Liverpool’s title dreams. Sturridge and Suarez are on fire. However it is at Anfield where they seem to really come alive. Away losses at sides like Hull make Liverpool seem easily exploitable, having conceded more goals than the likes of West Ham and Hull.

Aston Villa v Norwich
My Prediction: Home Win
Dougie’s Prediction: Draw

This is a difficult game to predict, partly because these sides are having average seasons. Villa seem to be in limbo, too good to go down but too poor to push on and have a significant season. Norwich had a massive lift last week defeating Tottenham, this game will depend on how much Chris Hughton can use that confidence going forward.

Tottenham v Cardiff
My Prediction: Home Win
Dougie’s Prediction: Home Win

Mixed emotions in North London over the past week, having lost to Norwich last Sunday but progressing to the next round of the Europa League at White Hart Lane last night. Cardiff are having a terrible time of it in the relegation zone having been thumped 0-4 to Hull last week. Soljskaer will be wanting his new signings to really attempt to make an impact in Sunday’s clash, however I feel Spurs and Adebayor mark 2 will be too strong.

Swansea v Crystal Palace
My Prediction: Home Win
Dougie’s Prediction: Home win

The Swans have had a turbulent season, having sacked Laudrup in favour of player/manager Gary Monk. However, I think most Swansea fans will be quite content with his performance in management thus far, mastering a victory over Welsh rivals Cardiff and fighting a well-contested battle over two legs with Napoli, undeservedly being knocked out in the process. Palace have been impressive under Tony Pulis, they still have a long way to go in order to stay up. Their away fans have been excellent this season, but I shouldn’t think they will have too much to cheer about this weekend having seen Swansea’s impressive performances against Napoli.
